Be A Video Reporter With A Camera in Your Pocket
Last Friday I was returning from an errand in downtown Wilmington, Delaware when I heard loud music and joyous shouts in and around the town square. I happened to have my carry-everywhere, point-and-shoot camera with me which takes good HD video, so I shot a few clips and later put a short movie together (see below) with the free program, Windows Movie Maker.
You never know when such a journalistic opportunity may arise. More and more point-and-shoot cameras and even some new cell phones take amazing HD video. Think about equipping yourself with such a handy and not too expensive device so that you can grab a story on the fly. To keep people returning to your website or blog you need FRESH CONTENT, and this is one way to get it.
